I had planned the bivouac in Norseman knowing that there was a Telecentre to publish the pages of my website as of the opening on Monday 08/02 at 10 a.m. Alas I noted quickly that the system administrator had blocked the use of scripts as well as macro ftp – File Transfer Program–. There was thus no possibility for updating my website. I left Norseman extremely disappointed. I stopped around 3 p.m. on Eyre Hwy towards the border in Eucla between the State of the Western Australia and the State of South Australia. As of the establishment of my bivouac, I sent the waypoint of my position by HF radio, then I installed a BGAN satellite modem to publish the pages of my website. The transmission was very fast thus I could inform subscribers of the publication. |

The following day I headed towards the east on this Eyre Hwy in Nullarbor Plain. Shortly after Balladonia a signpost informs that the road is the Australia's longest straight line – Ninety Mile Straight- which finishes in Caiguna. In the event of incident there is not possible to use a mobile telephone, there is no relay. But some telephones are available either in roadhouses or on the road for the emergency calls. Other panels inform drivers that the road is not fenced and that there are stray animals! For the trip it is necessary to have a large quantity of Cd or an intense interior life. |

On February 10th it was still a driving day on Eyre Hwy by a gloomy weather and sometimes in the rain. Only animation consisted in reading signposts to improve my English language. I still give an example of it. In addition police control: Drinking driving & Seat belt. But I did never meet it. |

Before last day on Eyre Hwy by arriving in Ceduna. After Yalata trees again make their appearance and the road is stretched in a forest. On the move I did a detour to take pictures of Bunda Cliffs, else dismal road. |

After 1240 kilometres on Eyre Hwy in Nullarbor Plain I arrived finally int Ceduna after a short control of the quarantine at the entry of the city. It is at the edge of Murat Bay and close to a community of aboriginals which wander idle in streets. After the unavoidable visit in Visitor Centre and in a cybercafé I establish my bivouac in Ceduna Foreshore Caravan Park. |

I was invited for a weekend by Evelyne and Jean-Claude Wagnon in their house at Point Westall. They welcomed me very cordially. Their house is located on a small hill in a vast ground overhanging a bay with a stunning view. |

On Sunday morning we left to go to collect crabs in Streaky bay. Fishing was miraculous, in one hour we collected 17 crabs in baskets. Then we had lunch before heading back to the house. The day was splendid with a sea at 25.8°C and a resplendent sun. |
