I Team:
My truck was kept by the MAN dealer in Malaysia. It was a trip as backpacker.
II Journey:
Burma was visited in 1987 by buying a product in a tour operator in Bangkok.
2.1 the trip:
The circuit is traditional and takes again the cities visited it there A 22 years in seven days by adding the towns of Bago and the Golden Rock in the east, Sittwe and Mrauk U in the west, the town of Monywa in north as well as the town of Pyay.
2.2 The road network:

The road network is of good quality for the roads authorized for foreigners. Buses are old on the short distances, they are modern and recent with the air conditioning at the long distances.
2.3 Birman drivers:
Traffic is done on the right hand with very often vehicles having right hand driven because imported from bordering countries.
III bivouacs:

Of course no bivouac, I went in the budget hotels recommended by the LP. I was never disappointed.
IV Supplies of food:

As in the past I lunched in the markets. Except one or twice I went in standing restaurant in Yangon and in Mandalay.
V Fluids:

NA
VI Money:
There is no ATM’s in Burma. Hotels, fees of entry in sites and the air tickets are paid in $US. The exchange rate is almost fixed between the local currency and the dollar.
VII Guides:

I never took of guide to visit sites. I had Lonely Planet guide book, Lp.
VIII Passport, visa, border crossing:
I bought a 28 day visa at the embassy of Myanmar in Kuala Lumpur which is delivered in the same day without any difficulty.
IX My appreciation:
9.1 I liked:
-- The reception of the population, her courtesy, her discretion.
-- I did not encounter a problem of safety.
-- Except during the way of night towards Yangon, I was never controlled. The police force and the army are very discrete.
9.2 I hated:
-- The pollution of fumes exhaust and sound in large the cities.
-- Heat in April in the central plain.
X Relevance of this trip by camper:
No possibility of travelling by motor home. The entry of the foreign vehicles is not authorized. However I had met in India of German who had affirmed me that a German tour operator had organized a voyage according to methods' identical to China.
