approximately two hours including a circuit by boat on the underground
river. The day of the 29/08 was occupied by a long walk in the natural
reserve of Wulingyuan which gathers more than 240 tops surrounded by more
than 3.000 karstic formations. The spectacle was fairy-like under
different daylight. |

The morning of the 30/08 was
devoted in what relates to me with domestic tasks, my companions having
took rooms at the hotel wished to profit from it until midday! We
tardily took the road about 13:00 to arrive at the night fallen in
Changsha. Yang was powerful with the help of Roland to find a
carpark of hotel towards 19:30. It is equipped with a mini park where we
could take our meals and to put back us in the shade of the trees by a
temperature of 39°C and a moisture of 72% only. |

The 02/09 we left Quanzhou to Gulin on the way we filled the tank with
diesel. The Sinopec service stations rationed the quantity with 200 CNY per vehicle
at 4.70 CNY a liter. On the other hand the Petrochina service stations did not ration
the quantity but sold the diesel at 5.30 CNY a liter! After
driving into the town of Guilin looking after a carpark for the bivouac,
we chose the carpark of CITS. Towards 17:00 Michel and me went to visit Prince
City Solitary Beauty Peak. From the top at 152 meters we discovered the city
enchased in the karstic mountains and crossed by the river
Li. |

tourist, it offers pretty ballades by bicycle along the river Li. The
04/09, I went for a long walk by bike in the countryside of Yangshuo.
I had already visited Guilin and this city at the time of my journey in
1988. |
