Carnet de passage en douane

L’expérience à montré que le Carnet de Passage en Douane n’est pas demandé à l’entrée en Malaisie par la route. Par contre le transitaire à Port Klang le demande au débarquement du véhicule en provenance de Chennai par bateau.

The experiment has shown that the Carnet of Passage en Douane is not requested at the entry Malaysia by road. On the other hand the forwarding agent in Port Klang requests it to unload of the vehicle coming from Chennai by boat.

Kuala Lumpur KLIA

I Première entrée en Malaisie:
Le 28/10/O7 j'arrivais à l'aéroport de Kuala Lumpur KLIA. Au contrôle de l'immigration je remplis un formulaire et j'obtins un visa gratuit de 90 jours. Je reçus la "departure card" avec la date de mon entrée. Le passage de la douane s'effectua sans contrôle.
La procédure dura environ 10 minutes.
Le 10/10 je pris livraison du camion à Port Klang. Préalablement j'avais donné le Carnet et une lettre accréditant Jets Services.
Il n'y eut aucun contrôle des douanes.

I First entry Malaysia:
The 28/10/07 I arrived at the airport of Kuala Lumpur KLIA. at the immigration desk I filled a form and I obtained a free 90-day visa. I received a "departure card" with the date of my entry. The cross of customs was carried out without control.
The procedure lasted around 10 minutes.
The 10/10 I took delivery of my truck in Port Klang. Beforehand I had given the Carnet and a letter accrediting Jets Services.
There was no control at customs.

Padang Besar

II Première sortie de Malaisie:
Le 14/12/07 au poste frontière de la Malaisie à Padang Besar, je passais par le guichet de l’Immigration où je donnais mon passeport et la « depature card » puis je me rendis au bureau de la douane pour faire remplir le volet d’exportation du Carnet. Le véhicule ne fut pas visité. La procédure dura au plus 10 minutes.

II First exit Malaysia:
The 14/12/07 at the border post of Malaysia in Padang Besar, I passed by the counter of Immigration where I gave my passport and the “depature card” then I went to the customs booth to make fill the exportation voucher of the Carnet. The vehicle was not visited. The procedure lasted at more 10 minutes.

Rantau Panjang

III Deuxième entrée en Malaisie:
Le 11/03/08 après avoir franchi les contrôles de la Thaïlande. Sous le bâtiment de la Malaisie je pris avec le camion la file dédiée aux bus et trucks et je m’arrêtais à coté du kiosk de l’immigration. Je descendis du camion et présentais mon passeport à l’employé qui l’enregistra et le tamponna avec un visa VOA de 90 jours. Je repris le camion et passant devant la douane les douaniers me firent signe de continuer. Du carnet de passage en douane il n’en fut là aussi pas question. La procédure dura moins de dix minutes.

III Second entry Malaysia:
The 11/03/08 after having crossed controls of Thailand, under the building of Malaysia, I took with my truck the file dedicated to buses and trucks and I stopped beside the immigration kiosk. I got out of the truck and presented my passport at the employee who recorded it and stamped it with a ninety-day VOA. I took again my truck and passing in front of the customs, the customs officers beckoned to me to continue. Of Carnet de passage en douane it was there too not question. The procedure lasted less than ten minutes.

Johor Bahru

IV Deuxième sortie de Malaisie:
Le 05/04/08 je passais le contrôle de l’immigration au checkpoint des voitures et j’allais à pied avec un employé à la douane qui ne se déplaça pas pour voir le camion. Il me demanda simplement si j’avais le "Carnet", je lui répondis, non. La procédure dura une dizaine de minutes.

IV Second exit Malaysia:
The 05/04/08 I crossed the control of immigration at the car checkpoint and I went on foot with an employee to the customs who did not move to see my truck. He asked me simply if I had the "Carnet", I answered, no. The procedure lasted around ten minutes.

Other entries and exits from Malaysia were so easy as before.
