On Tuesday, July 17 I continued my way towards the east in Caprivi Strip of which the length from west-to-east is approximately 380 km. In Kongola I forked towards the south to go to visit Nkasa Rupara National Park. I stopped at approximately 2 km of the entrance gate of the park to bivouac at Sangwali-Rupara, Mamili, for two nights.
On Wednesday, July 18 I visited Nkasa Rupara National Park very slowly. Indeed I traversed the 58 km in a little more 7:00 with many stops at the water-holes to expect the big cats which did not honor me with their visit; once again I was not lucky. Despite everything I observed many animals. The day was gloomy with an overcast sky without rain, dry season. The landscape is characterized by high grasses in which the antelopes with their fawn-coloured dress are difficult to see and to photograph. I returned to my bivouac.
On Thursday, July 19 I left as of early dawn to be before the end of the morning in Katima Mulilo to find an MTC agency in order to top up the Sim card of the WiFi router. Indeed since its purchase at Lüderitz I had consumed 15 GB for the update of my website as well as various consultations and research without forgetting my press review in these times of disorders. As of its obtaining I sent urgent emails while stationing in the street. Katima Mulilo will not leave an imperishable memory with its covered streets with potholes. Finally I settled for two nights in Protea Hotel and Camp at the edge of Zambezi river, border with Angola, to prepare my entry in Botswana on Saturday, July 21. I returned downtown to balance the cash money with diesel fuel.

I left the bivouac of Katima Mulilo before the daybreak to arrive at the border before the horde of trucks. But alas the opening is at 7:00 a.m. The procedure was quickly dispatched. I traversed Ngoma Bridge above a marsh to go at the border of Botswana.
