from Pak Nam Pran Beach to the border of Cambodia

After five days of servicing of my truck and of having rest in Pak Nam Pran I continued heading towards the border of Cambodia by stopping one night in Hat Chao Samran.

The 14/10 was a long trip without story to arrive at the known bivouac in Aranya Prathet at the border of Cambodia. On the move, NH4, I had release, by a Hino workshop, the two bolts holding the nitrogen tank of the right-front shock absorber which hides partly the chassis number; this in preparation for the crossing checkpoint in Moc Bai at the time of an entry Vietnam. Moreover at the exit Chachoengsao I found to buy plastic ties for pipe fixing of the exchangers on the roof of the cabin, always in preparation for the border crossing. In Aranya Prathet the known cybercafé did not have Internet connection; I have to look for another one. It was a quite ordinary day.

On October 16 I crossed the border of Thailand; controls had lasted less than one hour. Fifty meters further I entered Cambodia, controls were also fast. Both controls lasted one hour.
Surprised, surprised at the exit Poipet the road was asphalted, very new, until Sisophon. Much change in eight months. I arrived in Battambang around 11 a.m., local time.
