Tuesday, November 26 I entered the zone of the border post around 9:30, Mauritania time. The facilitator expected me. His intervention was not great effectiveness to reduce the latencies knowing that others of his trade were more interventionists. I arose from the zone with a 30 day visa for 55€. The facilitator obtained the gangway to me and insurance a thirty days. In Nouadhibou I found to buy a SIm card de 30 days Mauritel. I turned over at the entrance of Nouadhibou to bivouac on a beach of bay of Star. At the end of the afternoon a young German joined me with his WV Transporter of another-age. He is photographer equipped with a Sony A7.
Wednesday, November 27 I left Nouadhibou towards the Banc d'Arguin. I progressed without difficulty. But alas, perhaps too trustful, around 15:00 I silted up my truck in sand. During nearly two hours I tried to leave it, without success. I sent a cry for help to my brother by HF radio by giving him my GPS coordinates and the phone number of Ahmed of whom I had become acquainted at Nouadhibou.
Friday the 29th and Saturday the 30th, always in contact by HF with my brother no assistance came to leave me this situation.
Saturday, November 30 I left in forwarding on foot to go to the Ruin of Tanoûdêrt where I waited more than one hour without seeing any vehicle. I returned to my truck where I arrived around 18:35, the night fallen, after having traversed in the desert and the dunes 19.30 km. Harassed I lay down.
Sunday, December 1 I informed my brother who started the Orsec plan. Finally around 15:00 I saw to appear a car of the gendarmerie accompanying Ahmed. After discussion with the gendarmerie and by comparing our respective GPS hardware I noted that of the gendarmerie is in degree, minute, second, whereas mine is in minute degree and hundredth of minute; what is an explanation of the difficulty of finding me. Around 15:30 my vehicle was extracted without difficulty and I went again my progression with the gendarmerie and Ahmed eastwards, to Chamî, to find a mobile connection network, then towards the entry of the PNBA at Ras Tafarît. During the progression I think on the situation and the continuation of my journey in Mauritania. After negotiation with Ahmed I decided that he would accompany me until December 26th completion date of my Mauritanian visa while following the trip which I had studied before.
