Practical information |

The first phase of the preparation of the "Globe" proceeded
into France, Germany, Holland and Belgium. Good and People movement
does not put any problem in the European Union area. Moreover visited
countries take part in "Schengen agreement". Thus the crossing of the
borders escaped notice. Finally the single currency, Euro, facilitated the
purchases and the comparison of the prices. Only remains the mosaic of the
languages fortunately there is a lingua franca : English.
Consequently, the information given in this page is reduced to the main point:
those which differ from France. |

Since June 2004, the E111 form and other documents for
temporary travelling in Europe are replaced by a European Health
Insurance Card - EHIC- which facilitates access to healthcare in the EU
area. It can be obtained - in France - by Internet on the site
of the CPAM of the residence place. I received it in three days.
For more information consult the website:

In France it should be remembered that the Social Security authorizes the purchase
of drugs only for three months of treatment that poses problem of the
renewal during long stays abroad.
