Panama City Beach
On Sunday, June 10, the day of my festival
-St Guy- I have the unpleasant one
surprised to note after lunching that a
dental inlay had left without leaving of
address. It had been restuck in Seoul then
checked in Draguignan. Mow the
installation of a crown in the USA will
cost an arm and a leg me meanly refunded
by the Axa insurance supplemented by a few
euros of the Social security and the
mutual insurance company. Moreover after
the catch of a print on Wednesday, June 13
I will wait two weeks for the installation
of the crown. I must plan to remain in the
area. This Monday morning as of early dawn
I leaved Ochlockonee River Park with the
bucolic view of a peacefully feeding herd
of hinds. At present I am for two nights
in Campers Inn not far from the dentist's
surgery.

Tuesday 12th was a day of rest on standby
appointment the following day at the
dentist. Still a day without rain, but
with a misty sky, a bearable heat of 28°C
and a moisture of 50%. I prepared my stay
in the State Parks of Florida where the
available places are seldom especially in
the weekend. But finally I booked five
days in two parks, the continuation
depends on the appointment to put the
dental crown, to follow. In the afternoon
I walked on the beach by taking baths.

Thus I was at the dentist at 8:00 to leave
there at 10:30 that is to say 2:30 on the
armchair. The dental practice is different
from France. Here the dentist operates two
patients at the same time with two
assistants. Tools seem similar. But there
is no spittoon, the assistant aspires with
a pipe saliva and residues of the
operation. I had entitled to three radios
with a protective apron against
radiations. The dentist practiced an
endodontic, therapy of root channels etc.
Finalement my visa card was painfully
punctured. An appointment for the
installation of the dental crown was taken
on July 9th. Moreover I should take a
medicine against the infections
post-operative of the endodontic. I have
appreciate that the receptionist speaks
French. The address of the dentist's
surgery is given in the partical
information page. While leaving I went to
McDo by quietly installing me in a corner
to benefit from Internet connection in
order to book a camp-site in state parks
of Florida with the site
www.reserveamerica.com.
Alas most were already complete. Finally I succeed in finding a place in
four of them, but on July 2nd I will be on
a carpark in transit between two parks.
Grayton Beach State Park
Grayton Beach State Park was the first
park where I spent three nights. The
second day as of early dawn I undertook a
ballade by bicycle by traversing Flatwood
Trail about 15 km with a departure and a
return to the beach. As accustomed in the
American parks many interpretative signs
allowed to get information. The cycle of
food in the ecosystem is one of most
interesting. Backwards I had a rest of a
sea bathing. But the sky was darkening
with bombshells and flashes streaking the
black clouds. I returned to my truck to
close the windows right before a violent
storm falls down for nearly two hours. In
the afternoon I went again to the white
sand beach.

Before the sun darts its rays and that the
rain falls I undertook a walk by bicycle
along CR 30-A with adetour towards Grayton
Beach. The distance return was about 27
km, without interest if it is not to have
had a physical-activity. Of course back I
took a sea bathing which I reiterated in
middle of afternoon.

Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park
I left Grayton Beach around 10:00 to go
further of 60 km in Fred Gannon Rocky
Bayou State Park which accommodated to me
for two nights only due to availabilities.
After the installation of my truck on a
very vast surface I traversed the Red
Cedar Trail during about thirty minutes by
observing the various species of trees
with interpretive signs. Weather was
dubious, overcast sky with a temperature
about 29°C and a moisture of 38%.
On Sunday, June 17, I started in early
morning on Nature Trails of the park in
the hope of observing birds of prey. Alas
in spite of a quiet and cautious
progression with many stops, no volatile
appeared. After seven km of walk in nearly
three hours I returned vexed to my truck.
