I spent Monday September 13 at the MAN workshop, Brisbane Truck Centre.
For safety reasons allegedly, the customer is not allowed to look at the
work carried out on his vehicle. A rest room with armchairs, coffee and TV,
shower and rest room, is at customers disposal. Around 3 p.m. the receptionist
came to announce to me that the work was not finished in the
afternoon yet. Consequently I took a room at a hotel at the local for one night.
In the evening the spot is sinister, nothing to see if not a poor TV.
The following day the work was completed around 2 p.m. at the
announced price, parts and labour. I headed to Redcliffe where I had
appointment the next day at PPS to make the Generator Panda repaired
again. I bivouacked three days in Scarborough HV, as in June.
Wednesday 15/09 was still a day spent in a workshop. The breakdown of the
Generator Panda was diagnosed by changing the power cables what made it
possible to detect that they were divided at the entry of the Generator Panda
box causing a short-circuit.
The day 16/09 was a rest day to organize the future trips. |

On Friday morning I entered Brisbane to head to SDV,
the forwarding agent of the Bolloré Group, in order to finalize the transport
of my truck to Japan before leaving to visit the New Zealand on foot.
I remained in Newmarket Gardens Caravan Park, as in June, for five days. I
went several times into the CBD by bus to solve various matters. At this occasion I
seized street scenes. During my stay the weather was always gloomy in this
end of winter season. |
