On Monday, September 12th I left for El Parque Provincial Ischigualastro at approximately 75 km away from San Augustin del Valle Fértil. I arrived around 9:30 to insert me in the convoy in departure. The guided visit lasted more 3:30 while circulating on an overland route of approximately 40 km at the average altitude of 1380 m. The comments of the guide were certainly very instructive, but alas I didn't understood them. There is a Wifi connection which functions only sporadically… Consequently I could not publish the pages of my website for the previous week.

On Tuesday, September 13th I arrived at Park Nacional Talampaya. The visit is carried out in the vehicle. I choose to do it with the 4x4 truck called Safari Aventura Plus during three hours with a collation at mid--trip. The canyon is impressive by the height, 150 meters, the verticality and the color of the walls. Many petroglyphs cover them. At the end of the trip El Monje is a 40 meters height column. The gallery does not testify to the majesty of the site. I bivouacked on the carpark.

I left the Talampaya carpark at the spade of the day to admire the rising sun on the desert. I was not disappointed I photographed the low-angled light on the plain and the mountain then shortly after without low-angled light which is very fugacious. I arrived around 9:00 at San Agustin del Valle Fértil to publish the pages of my website of the previous week at Eco Hostel with a very slow speed for very heavy pictures. Then I made wash my truck to remove the marks of planting in the black-hole. I bivouacked again on Plaza San Martin.

Long monotonous roads back to Villa Independencia last stop before Mendoza, I took some pictures at the sunrise. I bivouacked again on carpark YPF.
While arriving at Mendoza I established my bivouac at the Camping Suizo at approximately 930 m of altitude in the El Challao district at the bottom of mountains. I left by bus on a trip to Mendoza downtown area, quadrilateral formed by the avenues, San Martin, Las Heras, Belgrano and Colon. Lonely-Planet mentions only three sights, it is to say that there are few things to see. Moreover in this Saturday few idlers in the streets and the five plazas. I started with Basilica San Francisco dedicated to the General San Martin. Then I moved towards Museo Popular Callejero which I did not find. Information taken near a shop there does not exist any more since years, Thanks Lonely-Planet and the plan of Tourist Office! I crossed two or three plazas to reach the vast Plaza Independencia where is Museo Municipal de Arte Moderno, closed. Finally I finished by Plaza España with its monumental mosaic fresco of the Spanish conquest. At the corner of Colon and San Martin I entered Templo Sacrado Corazón to attend the mass. I returned by bus to the Camping Suizo at the beginning of afternoon.
