The day of January 26 started with a visit at the US Consulate which was short because at the entry I were accommodated by a hostess who gave me a document while asking to consult the consulate website. Sunbeams boring the opaque mass of clouds I undertook a long walk into downtown by traversing the very commercial Robson St then I moved towards the West End where houses of the end of the 19th century were preserved destruction. At English Bay Beach I was welcomed by strange sculptures laughing with exuberance. Then I returned to the hotel by Coal Harbour and Gastown. For the first time since my arrival I was not attacked by drizzle. |

On February 1st I went to SDV Logistics to take various documents of which the Carnet -CPD- signed by the customs without to have visited my truck and to pay the invoice of the delivery at Lynn Terminal. The total cost from Brisbane to Vancouver is exposed by the Information page of Australia. The next morning I went by bus to Lynn Terminal to take my truck which had been transported in the hold of container ship "Pacific Java" without any apparent damage. In two hours of clock I put it in functioning order. |
