My American visa was valid until January
12th, 2013. Except risks of last hour I
had taken a six-month insurance for Mexico
from January 1st at the Lewis & Lewis
agency. The events of the beginning of
December were solved in time. Geopolitics
divides the American continent into three
zones, North America, Central America and
South America. The distribution of the
countries in these three zones is as much
if not more political than geographical.
For the visited countries and/or to visit
it is the following:
North America:
Canada, the USA, Mexico and Cuba,
Central America:
Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador,
Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama.
South America: At
the time of a forthcoming episode.
The maps given below were carried out with the road plan for about 20,000 kilometres and the budget projection for Cuba where I went from Cancun as backpacker. The road plan in Mexico does not take account a possible linguistical stay in Ensenada, Baja-California, and a prolonged stop at the MAN workshop in Querétaro, if it existed.
In spite of heavy health problems and after a first stage in Canada and in the USA I undertook again the journey to Mexico then to Central America and perhaps to South America. Hasta Luego!
