From Aranya Prathet to Prachuap Khiri Khan
From 25/02 to 07/03/2008

Finally the 25/02 I left the border town of Aranya Prathet in all quietude having a boat to load my truck to Europe. The weather was gloomy, covered sky, temperature of +32°C and moisture of 70%, in all nothing amusing good to do a lot of mileage. I had decided to take the coastal road from Bang Pakong up to Samut Prakarn hoping to find a bivouac at the seashore of the Gulf of Siam in the south of Bangkok. Alas average altitude was from - 1,45 meter to +3,48 meters. The ground was divided into pieces of rice plantation without access to the littoral. I continued the road up to Samut Sakhon where I can be able to take again the bivouac of the outward journey. On the way I ran along a very huge three-headed pachyderm on the roof of the Elephant museum with in background a splendid bridge which spans the mouth of Chao Praya river.

After a two-day stop at Hat Chao Samran I left on February 28 about 09:00 and I stopped in Hua Hin to read my mailbox, to lunch and to do shopping for the four future days which I projected to spend at seashore. On the way I took some pictures of a shrimp breeding with a system of oxygenation of water by mills moved by an engine of cultivator. Going along the littoral I establish my bivouac at Pak Nam Pran Beach known of homecar-drivers.
Since my departure from Aranya Prathet I was in the new situation to manage the plethora of time instead of the shortage, the boat was scheduled on April 6th. Moreover it remains to clarify some points before entering Singapore requesting an access to Internet to have conversation with the forwarding agent and the carrier.

I remained from February 28 to March 6 at Pak Nam Pran Beach of fine sand and several kilometres long with hotels whose environment is primarily family without crowded. I was invited by Th. Percevault, consultant of a company of land seismic equipment for oil research, married to an Inhabitant of Thailand who manages his villas for rent.
During this stay I clarified my entry Singapore with the help of the forwarding agent.
